Knot Technology Solutions Awarded GSA Schedule 70 Contract
October 4, 2011--Churchton, MD — Knot Technology Solutions proudly announces their contract award in the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) Schedule 70 program; contract GS-35F-0613X. This Award is a five year award and valid until September 2016. The GSA Schedule has a large variety of products, at pre-negotiated prices, available from select government-approved companies. Buyers are able to make purchases knowing that the GSA manages all legal obligations. Approved products are listed on-line at GSA Advantage for purchase by qualified government agencies. Independent agencies must contact us directly for product sales and support.

KNOT TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS ANNOUNCES CERTIFICATION AS A WOMAN-OWNED SMALL BUSINESS
Churchton, MD—May 19, 2011—Knot Technology Solutions announced today they have become Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB) and Economically Disadvantaged Woman Owned Small Business (EDWOSB) certified with the Small Business Administration.
On October 7, 2010, the U.S. Small Business Administration published a final rule effective February 4, 2011, aimed at expanding federal contracting opportunities for women-owned small businesses (WOSBs). The Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) Federal Contract program authorizes contracting officers to set aside certain federal contracts for eligible: WOSB and EDWOSB.
KTS meets the Federal Government Requirements which allows contracting officers to set aside certain federal contracts. To be eligible KTS had to be at least 51% owned and controlled by a woman and must be considered a “small” business in its primary industry.

Knot Technology Solutions is Awarded COSTARS Contract with State of Pennsylvania
April 14, 2011- Churchton, MD. Knot Technology Solutions has won a contract with the State of Pennsylvania’s Department of General Services.
COSTARS is the Commonwealth’s cooperative purchasing program managed by the DGS Bureau of Procurement. This contract allows Knot Technology Solutions the opportunity to do business with Commonwealth agencies, local public procurement units (LPPU) and state affiliated entities throughout the entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Contract Awards
KTS awarded SMCPS-2010-IT-CC Department of Information Technology- Computer Components Contract with the St. Mary's County, MD Public Schools System. The contract vehicle is a blanket purchase order agreeement for various network and storage products. KTS awarded a five year master contract to provide Information Technology Consulting & Support Services for the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE), a consortium of 14 universities in PA.
As a qualified supplier, KTS will be eligible to provide services in the following: Audio/Visual, IT Audit & Assessment, Network, Infrastructure, Project Management, Staff Augmentation & Technical Recruiting and Telecommunications.
KTS was awarded a multi-year Information Technology and Equipment Master Contract with the Pennsylvania State Stystem of Higher Education (PASSHE). As a qualified supplier, KTS will be providing Computer Hardware, Audio/Visual Hardware, Office Hardware, Power Hardware, Data Storage, Network Equipment and Other IT-related products including cabling and connectors for a consortium of 14 Universities in Pennsylvania.
